Strike a Pose

Kindergartners have been studying Keith Haring's artwork and last week they completed their project in his style. They began by pairing up and taking turns posing for each other while the other drew a stick person in the same pose. It was adorable to watch them pose and draw - they were amazing (pictures follow artwork)! They then picked their favorite pose and blew that up and added bold colors, just like Keith Haring. They chose whether or not to use expressive lines with their artwork to show either motion or emotion. Great work kindergarten!
