For their last art project, third graders drew their self-portraits with a twist...as super heroes with super powers...

After talking about emphasis and variety, students created Mother's Day bouquets...they are gorgeous third grade!

Going Down Under

In their latest art project, third graders looked to Australian animals and aboriginal dot paintings for inspiration and technique. They created a dot pattern inside their animal and added decorative circles, symbols of meetings and campsites. For an extra graphic element, some chose to connect their meeting circles with geometric lines.
