This is Me and Where I Live

Kindergartners' exploration into self-portraiture was a huge success - they really captured themselves! They started by looking at themselves in mirrors and sketching their face. Then, after choosing their hair and skin tones, they painted themselves in the foreground and colored their homes in the background with crayon. Beautiful artwork kindergartners!

Flutter By Butterflies

Spring is here and there have been lots of beautiful butterflies flying around the kindergarten art classroom the last couple weeks. I am so proud of everyone for their detailed painting and colorful imaginations! They learned to use a flat paintbrush two different ways, broad strokes and thin strokes. Beautiful butterflies kindergarten!
