Ready for the Pool

In preparation for summer, fourth graders created underwater self-portraits complete with swishing hair, bubbles, and more. They used a crayon watercolor resist technique to create the light reflections in the pool. Great work fourth grade...summer's almost here!

Incredible Weaving

Fourth graders completed their weaving unit last week and their creations are gorgeous! Their color and pattern ideas are so unique and beautiful - I'm so proud of everyone. In addition to weaving solid stripes, they were challenged to learn three new designs: checkerboard, hatching (aka "fire"), and vertical stripes (very tricky!). These are absolutely incredible...amazing weaving 4th grade!

Fourth graders did a marvelous job of using air-dry clay to create birds in their nests. There's a great range of creativity in both sculpting styles and color choices. I'm so proud of everyone and hope they flew home safely!

We've got an egg hatching - Spring must be here!
