By now you know what your first graders have been working on these last few weeks in art class! They were so proud of these, and understandably so...they are lovely! Before diving into the project we looked at flowers painted by Monet, Van Gogh and O'Keeffe. This was a great project because it had them working in 3D, creating the vase (that's all their construction work!), and making both 2D and 3D flowers. There was such an amazing variety in size, shape and color...wonderful work first grade!
