First graders finished their nighttime pumpkin scenes this week and they look spectacular! They were only given primary paint colors (red, yellow, blue) to create their pumpkins, leaves and moon. We also discussed how the light would affect the pumpkin's color and you can really see how they worked to show this detail. The finishing touch was the white glimmer of moonlight. I'm just blown away by their skills!
