Celebrating a Feast Day

To celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi (Oct. 4th), fourth graders created some beautiful drawings of the saint and his animal friends. Together we drew St. Francis and then they set out to draw at least three animals using their skills of identifying simple shapes within animals to aid in their drawings. They also worked hard to keep adding details and refining their drawings and I think the results speak for themselves...they are absolutely lovely!
