Going Down Under

In their latest art project, third graders looked to Australian animals and aboriginal dot paintings for inspiration and technique. They created a dot pattern inside their animal and added decorative circles, symbols of meetings and campsites. For an extra graphic element, some chose to connect their meeting circles with geometric lines.
