We are Beautiful

First graders finished their self-portraits this week. They used mirrors to study themselves and identify where their facial features are situated in relation to each other. The finishing touch was reflecting on their friends and writing positive words on each other's artwork. These are wonderful first grade...a great demonstration of artistry and friendship!!

Looking in the Mirror

For their last art project, second graders drew their self-portraits. As they looked in mirrors, we discussed the location of their features in relation to each other. They were challenged to draw what they saw in the mirror. Can you recognize your student?
