Spring has Sprung in Kindergarten

In art class, Kindergartners have been learning about color value. After studying several floral paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe, students set out to paint large close-up flowers that showed changes in color value. It took a lot of focus and restraint to mix their chosen color with white paint in different proportions. These flowers are so big, some are barely contained within the canvas, others extend off into the garden beyond...O'Keeffe would be very proud!
