Texture Collage

We've been talking about texture in PreK and this week they finished their texture collage project which included fabrics, papers, foil and, everyone's favorite, bubble wrap! After gluing them to their papers they painted them according to their chair/table color. The final touch was giving them white and black paint to create tints and shades of their primary color. They loved mixing the paint and I heard both, "I feel like a scientist!" and "I feel like a real artist!"
