K is for Kitten and Paul Klee

To go along with PreK studying the letter "k," they drew kittens in art class this week. They were introduced to the concept of a horizon line that separates the ground from the sky and did a wonderful job at working that into their drawings. Our class time was cut a little short so we didn't get to discuss the artist Paul Klee and look at his cat painting, so I think we'll pick up there this coming Tuesday. Great drawing PreK!
