Learning from Van Gogh

After studying Vincent van Gogh's artwork and his bold, colorful, fluid brush strokes, third graders created these beautiful landscapes using only the primary colors (red, yellow, blue), black, and white. They studied Van Gogh's Field of Poppies for inspiration. I'm so proud of you third grade...color mixing, implied texture, movement, depth of field...wonderful!
