Silhouettes in Second

Second graders have completed their silhouette projects. The goal was to create and cut out a black silhouette and use lines, shapes and color to show it exuding emotion. The color medium is chalk which gave artists the option of softening/blurring some or all of their color. This was a very challenging lesson and I am amazed at the level of skill they demonstrated.
