Sweet Lesson

Studying color and the play of light upon objects, sixth graders looked at the sweet work of American artist Wayne Thiebaud and set out to create delicious cakes of their own. When everyone was finished, they voted via secret ballet for the yummiest creation with the first prize being the choice of cake I will bake for their next class. Congratulations to Ella Jae! Next week sixth graders will enjoy a vanilla, chocolate and strawbettry triple layer cake with cream cheese frosting and multicolored sprinkles!
