Going Down Under

Before break, third graders looked at Australian animals and aboriginal dot paintings for inspiration and technique for their own artwork. They were challenged to create a dot pattern inside their animal and add decorative circles which are symbols of meetings and campsites. For an extra graphic element, some chose to connect their meeting circles with geometric lines. Wonderful work third!
