Easter Landscapes

First grade used crayon and watercolors to create these Easter landscapes featuring pattern and changing color value. They did such a beautiful job adjusting the pressure of their crayons to create the plain stripes with a light to dark value range -- not easy for this age group. Also notable are the differing moods, from sorrow to joy, achieved by their watercolor choices. Lovely artwork first grade!
