Hunting for Textures

After Christmas break, kindergartners continued talking about texture and went on a texture hunt, finding eight different textures in the classroom. Last week they began a project by using their skills from the week before to fill up a piece of paper with texture rubbings from the room. This week they used their creation as the background for a an art project involving their initials. But since we had so many absent we're going to finish it next week...stay tuned!
