Bubbles and More Bubbles

First graders had a wonderful time drawing bubbles this week. We talked about the difference between a circle and a sphere and how they could create the illusion of a sphere on their paper by adding contour lines of reflected light and colors. They looked at pictures of bubbles and Mrs. Heinski blew bubbles for direct observation - oh fun! We also saved some time at the end of class to watch a spectacular bubble video.
