PreK and Primaries

This week, after learning the primary colors, PreK studied and analyzed the artwork of surrealist artist Joan Miro. They then drew a portrait of someone they loved, colored with the primaries, and added decorative symbols often found in Miro's art.  Later in the day I had some red, blue and yellow paint out and the PreK class walked by. "You're using the primary colors!" they said...yay Prek, I'm so proud of you!!
