Native American Medicine Shields

Hopefully you've all seen the medicine shields your first graders brought home this week. They began this project by closing their eyes and going on a vision quest to find their power animal. Then they decorated their shields with geometric shapes and meaningful symbols. I'm so proud of all of their focused creativity!
