Metal Working

Fifth graders finished their repoussé projects this week. Repoussé is a metalworking technique where the metal is hammered from the back towards the front. Chasing is then used to engrave details from the front towards the back. They created their artwork with pointy wooden sticks on sheets of aluminum.
