3D Sculpture Artists

Before they got busy creating their 3D sculptures, Kindergartners looked at the artwork of Alexander Calder, a mechanical engineer turned artist. We also talked about the three primary colors which predominate Calder's artwork and the difference between 2D and 3D art. It was so fun watching and listening to them work, imagining they were creating forts, roller coasters, playgrounds and more. Hopefully these made it home without too much smushing!
