Using different kinds of lines, PreK students drew and colored birds. Before the coloring began they took a trip into the auditorium where they pretended to be crazy crayons and controlled crayons. Back in the classroom, they practiced coloring crazy outside the lines and very controlled inside the lines with amazing results. We talked about how as artists there's a time to use both of these methods.
