After studying unity and balance in art, the seventh graders began a watercolor painting with the goal of achieving these two principles. They used watercolor techniques they learned last year including wet on wet, masking, splatter, shavings (
bravo Harry - what better application than spewing lava?!), reduction dabbing, and salt. They were also encouraged to mix colors, expanding their eight color palettes into an infinite assortment. Very impressive work, Seventh!
