Fifth Grade at Artspace

Fifth graders seemed to really enjoy their trip to Artspace yesterday. They took a tour of the galleries, met resident artists, and did a batik project (which will go home next week). I was very impressed by their observations, artwork analyses, and depth of questions both on the creative and economic sides of being an artist. Here are some pictures of their day -- including lots of group shots to ensure everybody can be seen! And so many thanks to our wonderful chaperones, Anna Rivero, Bob Daley, Kevin, and Margie and Jason York, that helped make our trip a success!!
