Butterflies

The past couple of weeks, kindergartners have been working on their clay butterflies and they are finally ready to fly home -- they're wrapped up in the brown paper bags! They learned that knowing how to make a sphere, a slab (pancake shape), and a coil (snake shape) out of clay, gives one the ability to create anything...even butterflies! This past Tuesday, they added antennae and had a little fun with free draw time.
