Snowmen in Fourth

Fourth graders discussed the effects of light on objects and were then challenged to create snowmen that showed highlights from a light source and the resulting shadow. This was a one-class lesson, just minutes before they launched into their field trip (ie, there was a lot of excitement in the air), yet even still they did a wonderful job at creating the illusion that these snowmen have a round form.
