This week's Kindergarten lesson was to be day one of an abstract painting project that would have had them painting in BLACK paint. A great plan except I forgot they'd be all dressed up for picture day! As a substitute, I put together some blank books and we had a great class where they drew everything from snails to spaceships with a little line practice thrown in. They are such a fun bunch! Of course all this means that next week, 9/22, will be black paint day...so please make sure your artists have their artshirts at school!
