Second graders have completed their silhouette projects. Their goal was to create a silhouette exuding joy - and they succeeded! This was a very challenging lesson because they had to envision an object or animal, draw it sans detail (very difficult not to add eyeballs!), and then cut it out. I am AMAZED at the level of skill they demonstrated! And the joyful expressions are beautiful. You can just envision what each silhouette is thinking and feeling... Bravo second graders!
