Tree Weaving

Second graders were introduced to weaving trees a few weeks ago and the results are stunning! In the background are painted rural landscapes with the exception of one mermaid (see if you can find her - you'll just see her tail fin sticking out!). They are currently being displayed on the large boards in the auditorium but soon students will be bringing home a second smaller weaving that they've been creating on cardboard looms. Apologies for the poor image quality with these...I forgot to take pictures until after I had hung them up.
