It's Pumpkin and Paint Mixing Time

First graders finished their nighttime pumpkin scenes this week and they look spectacular! They combined red and yellow paint for their pumpkins and some took on the challenge of not thoroughly mixing them together to create different hues of orange. They also mixed blue and yellow to create the green for their leaves. Pumpkins and leaves were then cut out and placed on their backgrounds. The final touch was to add a little white reflection of moonlight onto their pumpkins...and do they ever shine!
