3D Sculpture

Kindergartners looked at Alexander Calder's sculpture and mobiles before diving in to create their abstract 3D designs. They learned how to make a "foot" at the end of each paper strip to make it stand on the paper. Once everyone was finished, they presented their pieces to the class and shared what they were...a spider, several roller coasters, a game at the fair, a cave, the ocean, abstract swirlies, a road, a crab, and more!
