Kindergarteners looked at some of Wassily Kandinski's abstract artwork and discussed how the paintings made them feel. They learned that abstract art can evoke different feelings in different people. They also learned that Kandinski's paintings were influenced by music so they listened to Mozart as they created these beautiful paper and chalk collages. They were instructed to feel the music and let it land on the paper. Their compositions are beautiful and I love the way their personalities shine through!
