Cathedral School ART: Big on Color Value

In art class, Kindergartners have been learning about color value. After studying several floral paintings by Georgia O'Keeffe, students set out to paint large close-up flowers that showed changes in color value. It took a lot of focus and restraint to mix their chosen color with the white paint in varying degrees and the results are gorgeous. O'Keeffe would be proud!
